Our family has been breeding Miniature Shetland ponies here in the heart of the North Devon countryside for many years now. It is a wonderful part of the country being close to the beautiful rolling hills of the Exmoor National Park and the superb North Devon coastline.

We originally bought 3 ponies to “help keep the grass down”, but over the years we have all grown to love the ponies and the stud has grown so that even the youngest members of the family have some of their own now. Our herd has now greatly expanded, but we have always made sure that we keep to our aim. That is, to keep the breed as close to the original as possible. As such, we breed Miniature Shetland ponies to have a lovely small head, of good quality and conformation whilst also having a lovely temperament.
